3. Insurance:
Each National Federation is responsible for its competitors and must assume all responsibility for the accident, health insurance, and civil liabilities of their competitors and officials during the Ju-Jitsu
German Open 2023. The organiser of the Ju-Jitsu German Open 2023 and the JJIF has no liability for any claims of injury, illness or death arising out of the participation and travelling connection with these events.
4. Registration and Payment:
Registration for this event must be made via SportsID: www.sportsid.org
• Each competitor or Duo/Show Couple must pay 150,- € for participation in the tournament
The amounts must be paid to the Organizing Committee on the deadline.
Deadline for applications and payments: 10.09.2023
Nations missing the registration deadline will not be allowed to participate.

5. Control of Entries and Accreditation
Athletes must be presented and registered by their National Federation. The control of entries and issuing of accreditation cards will take place: On 29th September 2023, from 16:00 to 18:00 at Schürenkamp Arena
One team official must attend in time to confirm the entries of all athletes and officials with their signatures. A delayed appearance or no-show at the control of entries may result in excluding all participants from the draw and the event. In case of unforeseen delay of arrival, the Federation must contact the organiser and the JJIF immediately. An accreditation card will be issued to competitors, officials, and the media. This accreditation card should always be carried.
5.1. Number of Participants
There is no Limit. The Participants should have experience.
5.2. Number of free accreditations for coaches:
• 1 – 4 athletes = 4 coaches
• 5 – 9 athletes = 6 coaches
• 10 athletes = 7 coaches
• 11 – 20 athletes = 8 coaches
• And more than 20 athletes = 9 coaches
6. Rules
The following rules apply:
• JJIF competition rules (in their latest versions), Organization and Sporting code of JJIF Version SC 1.0.
• We appeal to all participants to respect the fair-play and JJIF book of ethics
• Code of the behaviour of coaches as defined by JJIF Organization Rules will be strictly observed, including the Dress Code (See OSC).
7. Draw modus
Immediately after the draw has been finalised, the categories will be made available online on the Sportdata Event Website. JJNOs have the right to request minor changes1 in the following 2 hours, in
writing, to the organising committee. Seeding regulations of the JJIF will be observed. For the seeding, JJIF will use the world ranking list and registration for the event from Friday 23rd September. The JJNOs are responsible for making sure all points are correct in the raking list until this day.
8. Referees
The OC will take care of the referees working in this event, which means booking flights and hotels. Referees can apply via Sports ID for the event: www.sportdata.org All referees will be waitlisted first. The Technical Commission (Head referee of Discipline) will decide about participation in consideration of Discipline, Availability, License level, Gender equality aspects, and country. Continental and age mix.
9. Weigh-in
The athlete’s official weigh-in will be scheduled the day before the competition:
• Friday 29th September: 18:00 – 21:00
• Saturday 30th September: 15:00 – 18:00
